October 2005.
My article, "Tic-Related School Problems:
Impact on Functioning, Accommodations, and
Interventions" is now available in the November
issue of the journal Behavior Modification.
If you would like a copy, use the contact
form on this
site to request one. Some Spanish translations have
been added to this site, courtesy of AMPASTTA in
Madrid. Other minor updates have been done
thoughout the year, but stay tuned for another
major updating of the site, scheduled for the end
of this year.
January 23,
2005: I received a number of requests this
week for the advocacy tutorial, so it's back up on
the site, but do note that some of the information
in there may not be current or accurate because of
changes in I.D.E.A. Use the tutorial to help you
with your attitude, approach, and organization.
Some of the tools in there are still very
appropriate. You can read the complete
tutorial in .pdf format
or download
it in .zip pdf format.
January
2005: Happy and Healthy New Year,
everyone! I just completed a major updating of the
site. In terms of content changes:
- the advocacy
section and the humor section have been removed
(at least for now)
- there are new
content sections on anxiety
disorders
and an overview section on Nonverbal Learning
Disorders has been added to the section on
pervasive
developmental disorders.
- all of the main
conditions files have been updated and you will
find new files in most sections.
- the
school-related section has also been expanded to
include more files, more links, and more books
for your library
There is now a
contact form for you to reach me from the web site.
As always, I'm sure
that despite my best efforts, I will have managed
to foul up some links or something. If you find any
errors or problems, please use the contact
form to
gently let me know.
And thanks to all of
you who have contacted me in the past year to
express your gratitude for the site. It's your
positive response that keeps me working on this
site.
