This site's privacy
policy is relatively
straightforward:
No cookies are placed
on your computer when you visit my web
site.
Some "site usage"
information from all visitors to this site is
gathered (your IP, date and time of visit, and
pages visited). Such information is used only in
the aggregate to help me determine usage patterns
so that I can fine-tune the site to meet the
interests of site visitors. The site usage logs are
not stored on my system but are stored on the web
host's server until they roll over automatically
after 6 months.
If you send me a
personal query by email, I may retain your email
for a month or so after replying to it, to see if
there will be follow-up correspondence. Emails are
stored on a remote secure server and I use SSL
encryption for receiving and sending email. Once it
is clear that there is unlikely to be further
correspondence, your email is deleted from that
server. I do not maintain any records of names and
email addresses of those who write to me.
In sending me email,
you do not establish a professional confidential
relationship with me. That said, I do not share
personal details sent to me by site visitors
without their express written permission.
Some web pages on
